Welcome to the Vacant Museum, where creative minds come together. As is probably obvious by now, The Vacant Museum is an online art gallery which caters to artists of all talents and backgrounds. The Museum is primarily dedicated to supporting and promoting emerging artists from around the world by increasing access to opportunities, audiences, and platforms for everyone. At the Vacant Museum, artists and exhibitions are free to be sui generis; Latin for “of their own kind.” You are guaranteed to uncover fresh and flourishing talent here that you may never have come across otherwise.
Above all, the Vacant Museum specializes in imaginative, engaging, and timely exhibitions that continuously challenge tradition and expectations. While proud to be an online art gallery, the Vacant Museum is also much more than that. Among other things, the Vacant Museum is:

The Vacant Museum was founded in 2019 and is led by independent curators based in California, Oregon, and the UK. In summer of 2021, the Vacant Museum will expand its capabilities to include an online marketplace for featured artwork directly within the site! Artists will soon be welcome to list their artworks for sale with the Vacant Museum and viewers will have easy access to purchase works within our exhibitions. Here at Vacant we do things differently. We embrace the individuality and unique advantages of the digital online realm in relationship to art. We do not seek to replicate or replace the traditional features of a physical gallery space. The Vacant Museum is and always will be sui generis; of its own kind
